There are many wildfires currently burning in the Pacific Northwest. The largest are in Oregon, Washington, and Montana.
The smoke is heavy and making breathing difficult for many. Friends and family are in evacuation areas and we all pray for safety for them and the firefighters.

| The sunspots are quite visible! |
Here are images I took today of the sun. It looked like a red ball in the sky behind the thick veil of smoke. For some of them, I used my 3.0 neutral density filter (that I had bought for the solar eclipse but ended up using my homemade ones instead). This made the sky darker in the images.
The following are without filter and straight from the camera with no adjustments other than resized and watermarked.
