Show and Tell: Skeleton

My Show and Tell post for today is just in time for this year's Hallowed Eve. It is a serigraph (screen print) from my first printmaking class in college. I had a lot of fun making it and was very happy with how it came out. It is still one of my favourites.

 

 

Skeleton was screen-printed with acrylic inks on 13" x 16" 100 lb Stonehenge and/or Lenox paper . It has an image size of 7 ½" x 12" in an edition of 9.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I printed dark red, lavender, and black. I also made a few with blue line work instead of black.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skeleton was made using a reference photo I took of the drawing studio model from next door.
