A Creative Year

This is my 65th  blog post for the year of 2015. That is just over one a week, which is pretty close to what I had planned to accomplish. I do hope no one felt too bombarded but I love having this blog site to show off my artwork and photographs. This is an avenue for my self expression and I have made a few new online friends through my blogging and had a lot of fun.

My Creative Hi-lites in 2015:

Learning how to use my blog site (and still learning)

Making new blog friends such as

Carolyn @ Living and Teaching Abroad

Donna @ Menopause Moi

Heather @ Life of a Traveling Navy Wife

Delia @ Happy Blogger Plaza

Got a few paintings done... some of which were submitted to a gallery exhibit and awaiting jury notification...

Participated in 1000k Speak for Compassion with a painting “Angel of Compassion”

Learned to use my Sony Cybershot camera and in the process discovered a joy for nature photography, especially frogs and moons (I would apologize for all the photos on my Facebook page but... not sorry!).

Participated in IPE International Print Exchange

Learned about making ATC artist trading cards with Grumbacher ATC Swaps

Discovered kombucha and taught myself to make my own.

As I continue on my path of artistic expression and journey into 2016, I am sure there will be many new and exciting self-discoveries for me to share. So far, my plans are to do more paintings, have a give-away contest, and learn how to use my new Canon Rebel EOS T5 camera (so far I am at chapter 3 in the manual).
